Printer Not Detected

If ShopkeeperPOS can't find your printer:

  • Check that the USB cable is securely connected
  • Make sure the printer is turned on
  • Try unplugging and reconnecting the USB cable
  • Restart ShopkeeperPOS Desktop
  • Check if the printer appears in macOS System Settings → Printers

Print Quality Issues

If prints are too light, too dark, or misaligned:

  • Adjust the print density in Printer Settings
  • Check printer paper alignment
  • Clean the printer head (refer to your printer manual)
  • Try a test print to verify settings

Printing Blank Receipts

If receipts print but are blank:

  • Check that you've selected the correct printer
  • Verify the printer has paper loaded
  • Try printing a test page from macOS System Settings
  • Check printer settings in ShopkeeperPOS

⚠️ Important

Important: Always test your printer connection before processing sales. A test print ensures everything is working correctly and helps avoid issues during busy periods.
